Nothing happens with 0245 and GEM 3.5

Hi,

I'm trying to use this toolbox to enable CarPlay on my MIB2 0245.
I've initially installed the toolbox and only after that I've noticed I had GEM 3.5. So, I've replaced the 'cpu' folder as per instructions and used the same installation procedure.

However, when I try to use the patch function under the tools menu i just get a console with "..." and nothing happens.
The update or uninstall also doesn't do anything.

What am I missing? Can someone help me?

After replacing cpu folder are in gem 3xx or gem 4xx, if still in gem 3, need to update again with good cpu folder from toolbox.
When you patch you need to have sdcard into unit to run script correctly

Toolbox enable fec but you don't see them as valide, that's normal, you can see appconnect screen so everything is fine, plug android device it will work for sure, your problems is with usb, your's is too old

Isn't working with a Samsung Android tablet as well.
The "green" USB ports I'm finding in Aliexpress seems to be equal to mine.

Have you fitted a Green CarPlay compatible USB socket as advised? If not, do that or you're just wasting time and effort. Patched FEC codes will not appear so ignore that list on a patched unit.

Hi @stupots . Right, the first time I heard about that "Green CarPlay" was on @Medmimoza's reply here.

I've ordered one and should arrive by the end of January. Android Auto is working fine with the "old" USB.

When you replace usb don't forget codding:
5F/ long codding/ bit 19: usb is set to full so set it to ipod. Save and restart unit

Yep, otherwise even with green usb ans codding bit 19 as full, iPhone won't connect
