Is it at all possible to update to a later firmware than 0138T?

Yes but on 01xx units the internal memory is smaller then on the higher ones. The risk of bricking that unit is high.

I have seen on this website : http://mib-helper.com/index.php?train=MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0140T it's say Latest possible firmware: MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0480T

Is it possible to extend this memory by soldering more on another memory on it ?

And if it bricks is it possible to unbrick it ?

And from what I understand i could brick but it also could succed ?

Hi, Sorry to disappoint you, but I ultimately gave up as there was always something else that needed to be done to get it working. I spent far too much time on it and ended up buying a newer head unit. Hope you're successful.

Hello,
I also have MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0138T.
I understand that it is risky to upgrade the firmware.. but would you help me to get strait answers to these 2 questions:

1. Is it working to install the TOOLBOX on my actual 138T? (respecting the instruction to replace the CPU folder)
2. If yes, can I get Android Auto on 138T using this TOOLBOX?

1 toolbox will be installed
2 no you can't use android auto or carplay
