Cross-section response analysis

Hi,

It would be a great addition if you could implement a cross-section response analysis feature so that, as an example, we can impose a 'time' history of axial strains and/or curvatures and get the equilibrium curve of the cross-section, where hardening/softening regimes could be determined. Something along these lines is implemented in OpenSees with ZeroLengthElement(s), if I remember correctly.
