Overlays as an upgrade tool might be an interesting topic of discussion. Also other ideas welcome

We chatted a lot about our aspirations for a 2.0 version of Overlays. Check the related issue milestone for details but in short:

• better syntax to separate remove and update actions
• semantic syntax for target to more easily get to the structure rather than the textfile
• using existing content of openapi as input
• using environment variables as input
• supporting more array update options, and maybe some scalar update options
