radv/video: VCN5 support was merged for mesa-git

would this do anything in obs for linux?
could we have better support for recording on AMD? it looks like ass compared to nvenc so anything to improve it would be welcome cause linux feels forgotten.

OBS uses VAAPI for AMD on Linux, which already works and benefits from quality improvements in VCN5, what RADV does is irrelevant.

You are misunderstanding things, Mesa implements AMD VAAPI drivers alongside radeonsi (OpenGL) and RADV (Vulkan).

OBS itself don't have to implement it. Mesa does it. And in case of VCN5 did it already.
