Time to wait before each retry on reboot

Test Kitchen has support for enduring reboots initiated by a Chef Infra provisioner. Looking at the logs, after wait_for_retry each retry happens after 1 second max_retries times.

Is there any way to configure the time to wait between each retry to override the default of 1 second?
