Direkt link to single device wakeup and anonymous access

Would be nice if you could open a direct link that triggers a device wakeup, for example http://srvupsnap:8090/MyDevice would instantly call WOL for that device.
We currently have a WOL-cgi Script on one of our servers that i am tyring to replace with upsnap, what we do is put links on homeoffice wokers notebooks to wake up their company desktop when needed.

Also i dont not get why user authentication is required to trigger a WOL signal, there should be an option to allow WOL without a user login, for example by using a direct link to a device...
