The Rice Cooker music player is a work-in-progress function that will enable the user to play music from a series of streaming/video libraries (Just Youtube for now) in a discord server VC. Rice Cooker has functions to play, add to queue, skip, and clear queue based on User Inputs.
RiceCooker can take public/unlisted YouTube playlists or singular songs, download them locally, and spit the resulting download back through the VC, maintaining the sound quality of the original video(s).
Rice Cooker allows a near-infinite number of items to be queued into the music player. The queue can be viewed and edited to some extent, such as shuffling and removing items from the queue.
At its core, RiceCooker serves as a chatbot that adds a small spice to everyday conversations. If you are in need of a friend, Rice Bot will be there for you. Here are a handful of responses RiceCooker is capable of.
The bot will perform highly advanced algorithms to figure out the answer to a yes or no question and respond with a gif of the appropriate answer.(The bot just randomly chooses)
The bot will respond with a boop beep. The command serves as a basis for troubleshooting the Bot's connectivity.
The bot will respond to a common joke of "who asked" with a gif indicating that they were the ones who asked.
Rice Cooker, on startup, will analyze the calendar and perform functions based on the uniqueness of the date.
On the first of the month, Rice Cooker will send a video to a dedicated main channel that is indeed the first of the month.
On Friday, Rice Cooker will send a video celebrating the fact that it is indeed Friday.
