Manufacturers do change chipsets without changing model numbers. Sometimes they add (v)ersion or (rev)vision.
As long as a manufacturer or a company does not consider it necessary to supply drivers to the official Linux kernel avoid to buy this products!

To reproduce this tests, all steps are explained below (inclusive command line and result).

 1 configure target AP with a PSK  (only done once)
 2 connect target CLIENT to AP
 3 generate WPA-PSK PMK: wlangenpmk (only done once)
 4 stop all services that take access to WiFi devices (only done once)
 5 plug the adapter (all USB devices connected to an USB2 port due to well known USB3 problems)
 6 create target BPF (only done once)
 7 attack target: $ time hcxdumptool
 8 convert the hash: $ hcxpcapngtool
 9 confirm the attack: $ hashcat (hashmode 22001)
10 remove test files

generate PMK:

The omnidirectional antennas, supplied with the ALFA adapters are good. There is no need to by an additional one.
There are similar products (panel with RP-SMA connector) from e.g. LogiLink and e.g. D-Link. All of them doing a good job.

If you go for range, take a look at "real" panel antennas (e.g. Delock 88806, TP LINK TL-ANT2414, ...), mounted on a tripod (e.g. photo tripod).

@ZerBea mr mike you mean that i dont need to buy the 9 dpi one ALFA 9 dBi gain ARS-N19 to gain a better range because the one with the device i have is enough ?
i have included the options above due to some (restrictions) ....... it's the only thing that is here actually
if i am looking for a better range which choices do i have from the list a bove mr mike

The panel antennas are fine. Range will be better than using an omnidirectional antenna.

Tried with the PR above, doesn't appear to be stable for me. hcxdumptool freezes shortly after launch. TP-LINK Archer T2U v3, TP-Link TL-WN823N and ALFA AWUS036NEH work fine on the same setup.

This one should be fixed in 6.16. Older kernels will also get the fix eventually.
