I cant save my configuration settings

I have connected my game pad and configured and pressed save configuration option. Once i disconnected and connected my same game pad my configuration was gone and again i need configure each time my game pad got disconnected or i restarted my laptop using windows 10.

Same problem, my solution is to put the settings.json file in Read-only. This should be done automatically by XOutput and turn off only the editing time.
I hope this will be the case in a future update, or else correct the problem at the source (only the user can edit the file).
