More verbose usage instruction

Please add a more verbose instruction how to "create zabbix host" for purposes of the adblock template. Specifically, I don't now where to enter an IP address of the host, which in my case operates under 192.168.10.30:8083.

The main purpose of this repository is to store the AdGuard Home template publicly. With it, I provide a quick overview of the template's purpose and its items.

I'm not sure what you mean by "more verbose instruction". Do you need help creating your host and linking it to the AdGuard template?

If so, I suggest that you read the Zabbix documentation.
There you will find detailed information about host configuration and interface input.

Also, the Zabbix forum is very active and if you have any questions, someone can help you there, even myself.

I indeed started using Zabbix only yesterday, mostly because of your repository which proposes a very elegant solution to adblock monitoring. It was confusing for me that while creating a zabbix host I needed to enter my host IP (192.168.10.30) in the agent IP field, while no separate zabbix agent is actually used, and the port field in the agent settings seems to be actually ignored as the port is set separately in the macros section.

I needed to look in the template code itself, understand what HOST.CONN is and then read Zabbix manual related to Apache monitoring to understand how it works.

Of course my confusion was caused by mysterious ways of Zabbix and not your template.

My proposal for sake of such newcomers as myself who don't know Zabbix is to add in the template instructions after words "create zabbix host" a following explanation: "(enter your adguard server's IP address in the agent IP address field in the interface section)"

In the context of AdGuard monitoring, an API is used, which implies an HTTP connection.

The agent interface field is actually used by several item types, including the HTTP agent type.

The documentation states that the IP or DNS fields are optional, but I think it does not make it clear that they are only required when configuring an item that actually uses an interface.

HTTP item checks are performed by the Zabbix Server/Proxy and do not require an agent running on a monitored host.
Therefore, when using HTTP items, you can actually create a host without an interface, as long as the URL field has the correct IP/DNS values.

Nevertheless, the AdGuard Home template uses HTTP items, and I added the {HOST.CONN} macro to these items. This causes the connection to be made through the actual configured host interface. So, you need to add a valid interface.

I understand that newcomers may have questions about Zabbix concepts and configurations, and may not immediately understand the assumptions about configurations and macros.

I'm glad you learned more about Zabbix host configurations and macros.

I'll edit the README instructions to add some information about all this.
