Get a specific snapshot

I searched the source code for places where I could walk through all existing snapshots. And I didn't find any normal solution without editing the library. I can of course implement getter methods to access the prev_ and next_ fields in the virtual class SnapshotImpl, but I want a more legitimate way to do this.
