OpenMemory MCP not working with Claude Desktop or Claude Code

Searching and listing memories works, but not adding new ones.

@vladanm What's the version you're using and can you share the config getting used?

OpenAI API key is set, user is set, everything configured as per installation guide.

MCP is installed with: npx @openmemory/install local http://localhost:8765/mcp/claude/sse/vladanm --client claude
And working for reading memory.

I got the same error message, but it still worked.
